Global Unions and their member unions around the world are with US trade unionists in their struggle for basic workers’ rights. They support the Employee Free Choice Act. They reject the confrontational approach of US employers who oppose any and all reforms that would give workers any real chance to organise and bargain with their employers.
Workers should have the right to freely decide if they want trade union representation. It is none of the business of employers. In this conflict between democratic rights for those who produce wealth and explotation by those who control it, Global Unions and all reasonable people of good will know which side they are on.
